Sandhiller

A term for someone who lives in the Sandhills, the vast region of grass-stabilized sand dunes and mixed-grass prairie in north-central and western Nebraska. People in eastern Nebraska sometimes use it loosely for anyone living out west. It is tied specifically to Nebraska's distinctive Sandhills geography and ranching culture.
