A 'draw' is a small valley or dry ravine where water drains across otherwise flat or rolling farmland, a term common in Kansas and across the Great Plains. Farmers and ranchers use it to describe terrain when talking about cattle, fields, or where water collects. It is a reliable indicator of Plains and Kansas speech.
