Partner with Dialectly

Dialectly is a small, non-profit project archiving how Americans actually talk — region by region. We're always open to working with people, podcasts, classrooms, archives, and brands who share that mission. Here's what that can look like.

Social media

Cross-posts, shoutouts, takeovers, joint reels. If you run a page about American culture, language, regional history, food, music — chances are our audiences overlap. We're happy to feature your work and we love when you feature ours.

Collaborations

Joint content projects: a podcast episode on a specific dialect, a short film, a deep-dive essay, an interactive map of slang in your city. We bring the dictionary and the regional context; you bring whatever your medium is.

For linguistics departments and grad students: our entire dataset is open for research with attribution. Get in touch about CSV dumps or API access.

Support

We run on donations and volunteer time. If your company can help cover hosting, sponsor a region rollout, or kick in pro-bono design / dev / translation work, that goes a long way. We're not looking to put a logo on the site — we're looking for partners who care.

Individual supporters can chip in via our donate page; it's the same fund.

Other ways to help

Maybe none of the above fits, but you have an idea. Maybe you teach ESL and want a unit on regional speech. Maybe you're a TV writer looking for accurate regional flavour. Maybe you run a local newspaper and want to feature a "word of the week." All of that is welcome — just describe what you have in mind.

Get in touch

We read every message. A reply lands in your inbox within a few days. Feel free to drop a link to your work in the message — for partners we allow a couple.
