What does “Gagger” mean

Slang for a New York System hot wiener, a small all-meat dog steamed and dressed 'all the way' with yellow mustard, chopped onions, seasoned meat sauce and a sprinkle of celery salt. Counter cooks famously line a row of them up their forearm. Ordering 'a couple o' gaggers' is pure Providence late-night code.
