The default term for any circular intersection across Massachusetts and the rest of New England, where most of the country says roundabout or traffic circle. Massachusetts even codifies it in state law: traffic already in the rotary has the right of way. The word survives partly because so many of New England's circles predate the modern engineered roundabout.
