What does “Lowcountry” mean
Charleston, Beaufort, Hilton Head, Savannah — the marshland, oak-and-Spanish-moss coast where Gullah-Geechee culture, she-crab soup, and Frogmore stew all come from. Geographically about 50 miles inland from the Atlantic.
