What does “chicken bog” mean
A South Carolina one-pot dish of chicken, smoked sausage and rice cooked together until the rice is wet and 'boggy' (hence the name). Most popular in the Pee Dee — the town of Loris has hosted the annual Loris Bog-Off Festival since 1979.
