What does “Frogmore stew” mean
The classic Lowcountry one-pot boil of shrimp, smoked sausage, corn on the cob and new potatoes, seasoned with Old Bay. Coined in the 1960s by shrimper Richard Gay in Frogmore, a crossroads on St. Helena Island near Beaufort.
