Buckle bunny

A buckle bunny is a rodeo groupie — a woman drawn to cowboys, especially those wearing the oversized championship belt buckles awarded at PRCA and college rodeo events. The term emerged in late-20th-century rodeo culture and is most current in Wyoming, Texas, and Alberta, where rodeo is a year-round subculture. Used playfully or cuttingly depending on tone; rarely heard outside cowboy country.
