What does “Sun Drop” mean
Sun Drop is a caffeinated yellow citrus soda developed in 1949 by Charles Lazier in Missouri. Although it originated in the Midwest, it bottled in Gastonia, North Carolina for over fifty years and built its loyal following in the Southeast. It remains particularly popular in Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, and pockets of the rural South, where 'Sun Drop' often means the citrus soda the way 'Coke' can mean any cola.
