What does “Jucy Lucy” mean
A Minneapolis bar burger where the cheese is placed inside the ground beef before cooking, creating a melted cheese center instead of a traditional cheese-on-top burger. Two Twin Cities bars, Matt's Bar and the 5-8 Club, both claim to have invented it in the 1950s and still feud over the spelling (Jucy vs. Juicy). It is considered iconic Minnesota cuisine, especially in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
