Battered and pressure-fried potato wedges, usually cooked in the same vat as broasted chicken, sold at grocery-store delis and gas stations across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and parts of Alaska and Montana. Locals find it baffling that the rest of the country doesn't know the word.
